The Department of Physics was established in the year 2004 with inception of B.Sc. and M.Sc. programmes. The department was upgraded to research department in 2012 offering M. Phil FT/PT. The department is led by a team of highly committed faculty members to elevate the students to attain feats in the field of Physics. ...
     It has well equipped separate laboratories for UG, PG and Research Progrmmes.The department organizes co-curricular activities such as international, national and state level conferences, seminars and workshops and also arranges industrial visits, internships, exhibition to boost critical and innovative thinking among the students.
     To strengthen the curriculum the department offers Certificate Courses, Add-on courses, Value-added courses and Vocational Educational Training every year.
      The department has Electronic Lab (Special Lab) exclusively for the UG and PG students to develop their skills and knowledge in electronics. The department is also equipped with department library with books and dissertations for immediate reference.
