The Govt. of India established the National Service Scheme for the welfare of the students in 1969. The first and second year Undergraduate Students can enroll as volunteers. Admission to NSS is based on the willingness of the students. All registered students must do 120 hours social service in a year and they have to attend 7 days Special Camp.
