     The Department has ICT enabled class rooms and highly equipped laboratories with sophisticated instrumentations. It focuses on inculcating ethical and moral values among the students.
     The department also organizes conferences, seminars and symposiums; arranges internships and industrial visits; offers add-on courses, certificate courses, value-added courses, vocational education training to supplement curriculum learning.
      The department have qualified faculty having doctoral and research experiences and focus on research in the areas of Biotechnology/Biological Sciences.
