National Service Scheme unit in the college was initiated in 1995 with the inception of the institution. At present the club have 4 units ( 3 for boys and 1 for girls) with a strength of 400 volunteers. It is an extension dimension to the higher education system to orient the students towards community service while undergoing their higher education. The Govt. of India established the National Service Scheme for the welfare of the students in 1969. The first and second year Undergraduate Students can enroll as volunteers. Admission to NSS is based on the willingness of the students. All registered students must do 120 hours social service in a year and they have to attend 7 days Special Camp. Fifty students from each unit will be selected for the Special Camp. These students must stay in the camp for seven days. During the camp, the college will take care of food and transport facilities.
